After completing my Master’s degree in Biotechnology in 2023, I have devoted myself fully to preparing for the CSIR UGC NET Life Science exam. This journey has not been easy. Since June 2023, I have appeared for five national-level exams, but I have yet to clear one. Throughout my academic life, clearing a competitive exam at the national level has remained an elusive goal. I remember my early struggle preparing for NEET after high school. Despite two years of hard work, luck was not on my side, and I had to change direction and pursue biotechnology.
After graduation, I faced setbacks with the GAT B and IIT JAM exams as well. For over two years now, my focus has been unwaveringly on cracking the NET exam. It is not just about a certification for me; it is a testament that I can achieve what I set my mind to. My parents have supported me financially throughout—from expensive private schooling to university education. I have nothing concrete to show them yet and strongly feel the need to validate their sacrifices.
More than anything else, I want to prove to myself that all the time, effort, and money invested in my education was not in vain. This is why I am putting my full heart and soul into my NET preparation. It is my way of showing that I am capable, that I am not a "useless son," and that with perseverance and dedication, I too can succeed.
This exam represents far more than a career milestone—it is a chance to rewrite my story and honor the faith my parents have had in me. Every hour of study, every solved question, is a step closer to that goal. My commitment is absolute because this success will be a victory shared between my dreams and my parents' support.
